Approximately 300 yards from the intersection of I-20 and Loop 322 is a large pond that attracts ducks, shorebirds, and waders during the fall and winter months. (The pictures shown below were taken in February.) This pond is on the south side of I-20 and the east side of Loop 322. Be sure to pull completely off the access road. This is the access road to East I-20 and it is busy with traffic.
It’s worth looking at because you don’t necessarily need a scope to see all that is on the pond.
