Rufous Hummingbird Overwinters in NE Abilene
A sub-adult male Rufous Hummingbird showed up in Abilene September 15, 2005 in a NE Abilene neighborhood. He stayed for over three months and was last seen January 7, 2006. Jones County Trip List
Jan 2, 2006: Four members went birding Monday, January 2, in Jones County. Highlights of our trip included a Burrowing Owl, Lark Buntings, and Brewer’s Blackbirds.
